On 1st December, Insane Logic are hosting a dinner event in London at Tom’s Kitchen for Speech and Language Therapists to discuss the topic of “Virtual Speech & Language Therapy: The Future of the Industry?”
If you’re an SLT and are passionate about the future of speech and language therapy, we’d love to see you there! As well as hearing from our speaker, Wendy Lee, you’ll get the opportunity to join the debate during a Q&A session, network with fellow speech and language professionals, as well as partaking in a two course dinner.
Wendy has almost 30 years’ experience in speech and language therapy, during which she has worked with a number of organisations and written a range of resources to support children’s speech, language and communication in clinical practice, higher education and the third sector.
While she was the Professional Director at The Communication Trust, Wendy led on Hello, the National Year of Communication, which saw her working with local speech and language therapists and teachers to promote the importance of speech, language and communication for all children, while also providing input on national policy and research programmes. She currently works in collaboration with speech and language therapists and teachers, supporting schools and working with organisations such as the Makaton charity on all things speech and language therapy.
